Musk’s comments come as Trump admitted to NBC News Kristen Welker that prices may increase as a result of his plan.

If we’re going to subsidize them, let them become a state. We’re subsidizing Mexico and we’re subsidizing Canada and we’re subsidizing many countries all over the world. Of course, Trump is so ignorant and doesn’t take the time to learn how things really work. He just resorts to lying even when called out to his face.
